The Footfalls of a Denver Drum

The days following Thanksgiving suggests a renewed feeling of community in this city, one of many American metropolises that prospered once the dust of the tumultuous Old West era had settled. Today, Denver is a city with no shortage of holiday cheer and family-friendly activities for all to enjoy.

Support United Way’s community projects and improve the lives of children in need when you run in the four-mile Mile High United Way Turkey Trot. There’s also a quarter-mile fun run. Nearly 10,000 participants are expected to turn show up in Denver’s delightful Wash Park, where a villa of assembled entertainment and refreshments await.

Drums of the World is a popular family concert that departs each year on a musical trip to discover the world’s diverse rhythms. Their talented Colorado Symphony Percussionists welcome you to the Boettcher Concert Hall inside the Denver Performing Arts Complex, which was the country’s first symphony hall in the round.
