Bridging Past and Present

Denver City may have been born right here, when William Larimer, Jr., built a cabin in 1858. But LoDo is fully rooted in today, part of a massive facelift that is being hailed as one of the nation’s über urban success stories. Meaning, historic buildings have come back to life with vibrant boutiques, eateries, bars, brewpubs, galleries, and nightclubs.

This is where Denverites come to play: Catch the Rockies at Coors Field or the Denver Nuggets at Pepsi Center. Taste a dynamic new brew or the latest dish at one of our super cool restos. Or go artsy fartsy at the newly renovated Union Station, filled with local artisan shops, eateries, and cocktail lounges. We’re a neighborhood-in-progress, with new stuff being added all the time.
