With such a buzzing arts and culture scene, it’s no wonder why Denver’s many art museums are some of the most revered in the country.

Contemporary, classic, minimalist—no matter what art calls your name, you can find it right here in the city. Here are a few of our favorite art museums in Dever.

Denver Art Museum: This museum wows at first sight thanks to its impressive design by famed architect Daniel Libeskind. Inside, find seven levels of unique exhibits that cover Pre-Colombian, Asian, and modern European artworks.

Clyfford Still Museum: This impressive museum showcases the rise in popularity of minimalist work with large-scale paintings and archives from the Abstract Expressionist movement.

Museum of Contemporary Art Denver: Smaller than the other two, but still impressive with its collection, the Museum of Contemporary Art houses ever-changing exhibits of both local and national artworks. With an interest in pushing boundaries, many of the exhibits explore controversial themes in hopes of starting social conversations.
