Celebrate the Cherry Blossom Festival

It’s the most beautiful time of year—the Cherry Blossom Festival! An annual favorite for the past 47 years, this Denver tradition is steeped in history and rich in a culture that celebrates the blooming beauties all around the city.

On the weekend of June 22 and June 23, make your way over to Sakura Square to take part in the all-day festivities. Immerse yourself in the heritage and vibrancy of Japanese culture by experiencing the festival’s live entertainment, the marketplace, educational exhibitions, and so much more. Here you can find a little bit of everything from amazing food and drink vendors (be sure to check out the sake and teriyaki chicken booths) to taiko drumming and Japanese calligraphy. Around every corner of the marketplace, you’ll find unique pieces of jewelry, pottery, fine art, and clothing.
